Tiare Helberg The Inconsolable Isolation of Intimacy EP (Limited Edition) Released through In Deep Recordings Cat no. IDMA 003
September 1st 2008
Introducing the alluring Darwin born Swedish/Polynesian Tiare Helberg’s debut EP The Inconsolable Isolation of Intimacy.
Ms Helberg’s captivating, breathy vocals, intriguing lyrics and evocative sound make her intoxicating melodies and chord sequences unforgettable.
A songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who writes comfortably on either guitar or piano and sings like a 60’s French chanteuse . . . in English.
Producer David Skeet (himself contributing a tasty blues solo on their co-written second track Blue Orchid) has managed to perfectly preserve Tiare’s innocence and experience on these three beguiling songs. A deliciously mournful debut.
SK & MWP appear on the opening track Tattooed Cards, TP joining them on the closing track Matador of Love.
The second track Blue Orchid features Sophie Glasson (acoustic mood maiden) on cello.
This moody masterpiece available exclusively at the church merch in a very limited edition cardboard gatefold is a must for music fans and church completists.
The first 100 people to pre-order this Limited Edition EP will have their names printed on the album Zephyresque.

It's sincere, artful and addictive. It's as if she's been making records her entire life. Can't wait to hear what she does next!"

“it has such an emotional hypnotic wave to it . . . it's music I want to hear again and again”
